Indian Head Massage

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE IS LAUNCHING AT OUR WEYBRIDGE CLINIC ON 15th MARCH 2010

Indian head massage is a powerful treatment which has the ability to both relax and re-energise.

The aim of Indian head massage is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. It is based on the ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years.

What does it involve?
The client, fully clothed, sits in a massage chair for the treatment. The massage can be performed with or without oils depending on your preference. A range of different massage movements are used over the neck, shoulders, upper arms, scalp and face. The session will usually last 30 minutes.

What do you need to do?
If you would like oils used during your treatment it helps if you come wearing a top which will allow access to your neck, shoulders and arms - a vest top is ideal. Apart from that all you need to do is relax.

What are the benefits?
The experience is deeply calming and relaxing making it particularly useful when you are feeling overworked or overstretched making you stressed, tense, fatigued and unable to sleep properly. Following a session of Indian Head Massage you may leave feeling energised and revitalised and better able to concentrate as well as calm and relaxed and better able to sleep.

After Care
To gain maximum benefit from your Indian Head Massage treatment try to drink plenty of water or herbal teas to help flush away toxins.
